An electric supercar manufacturer is reportedly looking at Fresno as a possible site for its new manufacturing facility.

Trion Supercars Group, an exotic auto manufacturer based in Las Vegas, was founded in 2012 by automotive engineer Richard Patterson.

Last week, Patterson, along with actor, musician and investor Romeo Miller, formerly known as Lil’ Romeo, met with Mayor Jerry Dyer and his team to discuss possibly locating a manufacturing facility in Fresno, according to KMPH.

“I’m looking forward to the potential of doing business with them here in Fresno,” Dyer wrote in a social media post.

Patterson, who has been lauded for his work at Tesla where he was a senior design engineer, partnered with Miller for his business expertise and to advance the automotive industry technologically.

Miller is the son of Percy Robert Miller, an American rapper known by his stage name, Master P.

The supercar startup has not begun commercial production of its “Nemesis” model, but it did unveil a full-scale model concept to the public in 2015.

The Trion website lists the “Nemesis RR” with a base price of $1.6 million, the “Nemesis RR Black Ops” at $1.9 million, and “Nemesis GT) at $1.2 million.

The Nemesis RR production will be limited to 50 vehicles, the Nemesis RR Black Ops will be limited to nine and the Nemesis GT limited to 100, according to the website.

The website says the Nemesis RR will be able to reach a speed of 270-plus MPH and go from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds.

Messages and calls to both Trion and the mayor’s office were not returned.
