MicheFest, billed as the ultimate celebration of Mexican culture, is coming to Fresno next month.

The event promises to be the first and only traveling Mexican music festival showcasing some of Mexico’s most popular attractions, from the food to the music.

This year, the 2023 MicheFest U.S. tour kicks off its first show in Fresno at Granite Park on Aug. 19.  The tour will span 10 cities in the U.S. from Aug. 19 to Oct. 22.

Well-known Mexican regional artists will be performing, including Los Tigres del Norte, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Los Alameños de la Sierra and more.

Some stops will include special guest appearances from Latino social media influencers El Chaparro Chuacheneger and Juanito El Millonzuki.

To pay homage to Lucha Libre wrestling culture, the festival will have nine dates featuring a special appearance by Lucha Libre icon Blue Demon Jr.

According to MicheFest, this is the first time Los Tigres del Norte will be performing in a Fresno area outdoor venue since headlining the original MicheFest in 2019.

“We were excited to headline the very first individual MicheFest back in 2019, and we are thrilled to be headlining the first MicheFest national festival tour date in Fresno, California. We think this new MicheFest U.S. touring festival will showcase all the great parts of Mexican culture and share them with fans everywhere,” said Alfonso De Alba, the manager of iconic Mexican music group Los Tigres del Norte, in a press release.

All tickets can be purchased at www.michefest.com.
