Fresno-based Me-n-Ed’s Pizzeria is looking to fulfill Christmas wishes this holiday season through its “Merry Mailbox” program, aiming to deliver holiday joy to children throughout the Valley.

Until Thursday, Dec. 21, children visiting their local Me-n-Ed’s Pizzeria will be able to drop off letters to Santa for a chance to see some of their holiday wishes come true.

“It’s incredible to see the response we’ve had so far,” said John Ferdinandi, CEO of Me-n-Ed’s Pizzeria. “We’ve received some of the most heartfelt letters from children asking for modest gifts like stuffed animals, race cars and books, to selfless requests and wishes for their own parents and family members.”

Ferdinandi said one child even asked to be adopted this holiday season.

Me-n-Ed’s hopes to fulfill more than 100 wishes at random. Any child who drops off a letter will also be given a small prize on the spot.

“Our hope is to do what we can by bringing some extra joy and smiles to local children this Christmas Season,” said Tom Ferdinandi, chief operating officer of Me-n-Ed’s Pizzeria. “It truly is the most wonderful time of the year and we’re off to a great start by making so many wishes come true.”

Children are invited to include both their name and a parent’s name, email and physical address.
