The Marjaree Mason Center introduced Leticia Campos as its interim CEO on Tuesday, March 3, following the departure of former CEO Nicole Linder after nearly a decade serving in the position.
Under the leadership of Linder the Marjaree Mason Center saw critical expansion, strengthening its voice and reach across Fresno County and deepening partnerships that the organization hopes will continue to serve victims and their families for years to come.
Linder, whose last day on the job was last week, oversaw the expansion of the center’s capacity, in 2016-17 increasing shelter capacity from 155 beds to 196 beds across emergency and transitional housing programs. In 2024, the organization completed its $20 million-plus capital campaign to purchase and renovate a 37,000-square-foot facility that now houses a 24-hour trauma crisis center, counseling, early intervention services and more.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors, leadership team, staff, and volunteers, the Marjaree Mason Center extends its deepest gratitude for Nicole’s vision and leadership,” the Marjaree Mason Center wrote in a news release Tuesday.
The center hopes to announce a new, permanent CEO in the coming weeks.
