Riverstone, a master-planned community in Madera off Highway 41, has announced a new addition to its Riverwalk development — a 61,000-square-foot retail expansion anchored by Raley’s O-N-E Market.

This will be Sacramento-based Raley’s second location in Madera County, with the other in Oakhurst. The family-owned grocery chain plans to offer a full-service shopping experience in 40,000 square feet with a focus on health and wellness, featuring fresh prepared foods, natural and organic products, locally sourced produce and a café.

“This is a truly exciting moment for Madera County and the residents of District 1,” Madera County Supervisor Jordan Wamhoff said. “The arrival of Raley’s — a respected, state-of-the-art grocery store — marks the beginning of a new era of growth and convenience for the Riverstone community.”

Raley’s O-N-E Market, short for “Organics, Nutrition, Education,” is designed to provide more transparency in food sourcing and healthier product options, according to a news release.

“This partnership represents a major step in our ongoing mission to enhance the lifestyle and amenities available to residents and neighbors of the Central Valley,” said Tim Jones, Riverstone developer. “As a high-quality, community-focused grocer, Raley’s is the perfect fit for our growing community. This new store won’t just serve our residents—it will become a destination for the surrounding region, offering convenient access to healthy, fresh food and a shopping experience that reflects the values and lifestyle we’re building here in Riverstone.”

Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2026, with a projected grand opening in spring 2027.

Raley’s was founded in 1935 and operates 119 stores in California and Nevada under four names— Raley’s, Bel Air Markets, Nob Hill Foods and Raley’s O-N-E Market.

Riverwalk, located off Avenue 12, has welcomed a number of tenants including Dutch Bros Coffee, Papi’s Mex Grill and Fresh Fill Modern Market.
