The Madera County Department of Public Health announced Monday that its Clinic and Women, Infant and Children (WIC) services will be relocated to accommodate renovation to its current health building.

Services for its clinic and WIC services will be temporarily relocated from its current address at 1604 Sunrise Ave, to 324 S. Gateway Dr.

The department’s public health building upgrades and renovations will increase the clinic and laboratory capacity, extending the department’s ability to maintain service to the community more effectively, according to a news release.

During the remodel, the department will continue to provide service at its temporary location with no interruptions.

Public health services available include vaccinations and immunizations, sexually transmitted disease (STI) services, water testing, birth and death records and WIC services.

For more information, visit the department’s website or call (559) 675-7893.
