Señor Pancho’s, a Mexican restaurant in Lemoore, has had its alcohol license suspended for 25 days.

The suspension follows its second Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) violation for providing alcohol to a minor, according to the Kings County Sheriff’s Office.

The department issued a news release Thursday announcing the closure following a second minor decoy operation, which saw a minor working for ABC sold alcohol at the establishment.

On Feb. 12, 2022, the department sent its first minor decoy to the restaurant; a first violation typically results in a 15-day license suspension, which can be converted to a fine of no less than $3,000.

Feb. 6 of this year saw the second violation within a three-year period, leading to the 25-day suspension.

A third violation within a three-year timeframe will result in license revocation, according to ABC.

The minor decoy operation in 2022 was conducted as part of the ABC’s Alcohol Policing Partnership program funded by the Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The disciplinary action went into effect on July 2 and will lift following the 25-day suspension on Sunday, July 27.
