Fresh off her win in the 2023 Gracie Awards for Local Radio Co-Host of the Year, KMJ’s Christina Musson backed up her success with a second consecutive award, again bringing home best female co-host in the U.S. (mid-size market).
Musson, who has co-hosted KMJ’s Broeske and Musson Show since 2015, has been with KMJ since 2009 when she started her role as a weekday traffic reporter and producer for the Ray Appleton Show.
A graduate of Edison High School, Musson’s career in journalism has spanned across the country, living and studying journalism in New York City before a short stint in Yakima, Washington, then returning to the Valley in the late 2000s.
“It’s an honor to be recognized by my peers,” Musson wrote on X. “Thank you to our loyal @KMJNow @BroeskeMusson listeners, my co-host John Broeske and @Cumulus radio.”
The Gracies are presented annually by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF). 2024 award recipients will be honored in Beverly Hills in May and New York City in June.
Founded in 1951, the AWMF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing women in media. It supports women in media through scholarships and educational programs.
Established in 1975, the Gracie Awards, named after late comedian and businesswoman Gracie Allen, honors women who have inspired in the entertainment industry.
