Central Valley Kmart locations will soon be closing as a result of parent-company Sears Holding Company’s bankruptcy filling.

A list of 142 of the worst-performing stores will be liquidated in the coming weeks, according to published reports, leaving the retailer with less than 600 stores after the latest round of cuts.

The Kmart locations in Lemoore and Visalia are on the closures list.

The Kmart in Delano is also on that list.

Liquidation sales are expected to begin in the next couple of weeks.

The bankruptcy filling follows an announcement in August of another round of closures, including the Kmart in Clovis across from Sierra Vista Mall. Kmart locations in Kingsburg and Coalinga were also shuttered last year.

Sears locations that are closing include Bakersfield and Merced.
