Kaiser Permanente Fresno’s Orchard Plaza Medical Offices will celebrate its ribbon cutting Friday, preparing to welcome patients and members early next month.

The opening is the organization’s largest expansion in medical services in Fresno over the past 20 years, according to a news release from Kaiser Permanente.

Ground for the project was broken in December 2023. Construction firm Swinerton built the four-story, 146,000 square-foot building located at 7150 N. Corporate Dr., in Fresno.

It will include a number of medical services, ranging from primary and specialty care to pediatrics, oncology, lab, radiology and pharmacy providers. The complex will employ around 400 care providers, including over 100 physicians, and will provide high-quality, specialized health care.

The state-of-the-art facility is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)-certified, featuring solar panels, EV charging stations and drought-tolerant landscaping, as well as a walking path and bicycle facilities.

The office is expected to begin taking patients Oct. 6.
