The Fresno restaurant that serves whole-fried chickens opened a second location recently, spreading the wings of the business to serve even more customers in Northwest Fresno.

Harry’s Hen House opened its first location in November 2024 at 4434 W. Shaw Ave., in the same shopping center as Costco, giving customers the option to choose legs, wings and breasts all in one, offering a whole fried chicken and three sides to guests.

The concept, a first for the Valley according to owner Harut “Harry” Mkhitaryan, aimed to attract customers with high-quality, low-priced options. Chicken runs in the Mkhitaryan family; Harry’s son, David, founded Angry Chickz, a Sherman Oaks-based Nashville hot chicken franchise with multiple locations up and down the state.

Harry has been involved in the local food industry since before moving to the United States from Armenia over three decades ago.

Now with its second location at 2040 W. Bullard Ave. near West Avenue, guests can purchase a whole chicken combo, along with three sides, for under $20. The restaurant also offers sandwiches, tenders and bowls.

A user on the Fresno/Clovis Local Eats Facebook page shared info about the second location.
