Granville Homes and Mercy Corps are teaming up to provide emergency services to families affected by the earthquake in Syria.

Mercy Corps is a leading global humanitarian organization responding to the catastrophic 7.8-magnitude earthquake that hit Turkey and Northwest Syria on Feb. 6. The organization reported that due to the natural disaster, more than 1.8 million Syrians have been displaced.

Mercy Corps is rapidly assessing the needs of Northwest Syria, providing emergency water, sanitation and hygiene support to those who were displaced.

Through March 1, Granville Homes will match Mercy Corps donations dollar-for-dollar up to $20,000 for Syria relief efforts.

“Our business has been blessed with success, which is in no small part due to the support of our homeowners and trade partners. It is their support, and the support of our community, that allows us to give back to those in need. And today, that need lies with our brothers and sisters who were affected by this tragedy.” said Granville Homes President and CEO Darius Assemi.

Donations can be made to the organization at the fundraisers’ official website.
