Mayd Modern Mediterranean, a Mediterranean restaurant in north Fresno, was named DoorDash’s Favorite Delivery Spot for Mediterranean cuisine in the U.S. for 2024.

The list was based on customer ratings. As of Dec. 11, Mayd Modern Mediterranean has a 4.8-star rating.

“We’re excited to be named one of DoorDash’s Favorite Restaurants of 2024,” said Brandon Smittcamp, managing partner at Mayd Modern Mediterranean, in a news release. “At Mayd, we’re passionate about bringing fresh, modern Mediterranean cuisine to Fresno. Our commitment to quality ingredients and bold flavors has made us a local favorite, and we’re grateful to DoorDash for helping us share our love of Mediterranean food with the community.”

Smittcamp is part of an ownership group that also operates local restaurants Saizon, Heirloom, Butterfish, and The Lime Lite and is soon to open Otherside, a coffee house.

Mayd Modern Mediterranean was one of two restaurants chosen in California. The other was Domenico’s Italian Kitchen in Pasadena for Italian cuisine.
