The Fresno Grizzlies on Monday announced the headlining performer for this year’s Tequila Fest.

Grammy Award-winning artist Ludacris will headline at Chukchansi Park on May 17. According to a news release from the Fresno Grizzlies, Ludacris is the first of several big names to be announced.

“With a headliner as big as Ludacris, we truly believe that this year’s entertainment is second to none,” Grizzlies President Derek Franks said in a news release. “Having a hip-hop legend taking the stage on May 17 truly takes this event to the next level and cements Tequila Fest as one of the best annual concerts in the Central Valley.”

Ludacris joins a list of Tequila Fest headliners in the festival’s two-year history that includes T-Pain, Busta Rhymes, T.I. and Lil Jon.

Ludacris made a name for himself with hit songs including “Stand Up” and “What’s Your Fantasy,” and was featured on Usher’s “Yeah!” and Justin Bieber’s “Baby.”

He performed at the Super Bowl halftime show with Usher in 2024 and was featured in a State Farm commercial.

“Hopefully, Fresno is excited to get a big name and a big star like Ludacris, and the rest of the lineup is really going to be fun as well,” Franks said in an interview on Friday. “We look forward to another great event.”

To celebrate Ludacris’s announcement, the Grizzlies have extended early bird pricing for 48 hours through Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Tickets are available now at TequilaFestFresno.com or the Chukchansi Park Ticket Office. Early bird pricing starts at $39 for General Admission and $99 for VIP, offering exclusive perks like 10 Tequila Tastery tickets and a commemorative lanyard.
