One of Fresno’s most popular breweries announced that its newest location in north Fresno will be open for business starting 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Mad Duck’s fourth location is part of the 4.5-acre Copper River Marketplace near Copper and Maple avenues. The location will seat around 140 people and is expected to employ about 80, owner Alex Costa said at a groundbreaking event last year.

It’s the first stand-alone location, the largest and is also owned by Mad Duck.

The new Mad Duck is located at 1974 E. Copper Ave.

Mad Duck shared on Instagram that a soft opening for staffing training over the weekend raised nearly $4,000 that will be donated to Special Olympics Northern California.

Mad Duck is also expanding into Fresno Yosemite International Airport, with a restaurant and “Baby Duck” grab-n-go shop that could be open by fall 2025, reported GVwire.
