Chipotle Mexican Grill will open its newest Fresno restaurant on Wednesday featuring the area’s first “Chipotlane,” a drive-thru style pickup lane for online orders.

The store is located at 6702 N. Brawley Ave., on the corners of Brawley and Herndon avenues. It will be the eighth Chipotle restaurant in the Fresno/Clovis area and will be open from 10:45 a.m. – 10 p.m., seven days a week.

The “Chipotlane” featured at the restaurant is the first of its kind for Fresno/Clovis area Chipotles and will currently be reserved for pickups of digital orders only.

A company spokesperson said the drive-thrus may see use similar to other quick-serve restaurants, but are currently unable to accept on-the-spot drive-thru orders.

The Brawley location will celebrate its grand opening with free Chipotle Goods merchandise given away to the first five people in line. Free chips and guac will also be available to customers after purchasing their orders and signing up for Chipotle Rewards.

The restaurant is also currently hiring employees at their new location and at locations throughout town and across the country.

Chipotle restaurants create an average of 25 job opportunities per location and offer employee benefits including crew bonuses, a debt-free college degree program and access to mental health care for employees and their families.
