Jared Martin of Fresno has been named president of the California Association of Realtors.
Martin was installed Monday along with the 2019 leadership team. He most recently served as California Association of Realtors (CAR) president-elect and is a past treasurer. Martin is a third-generation Realtor, working in his family’s real estate business for the past 16 years.
He is one of the owners of Fresno real estate franchise Keller Williams Westland Realty.
Martin is also active in the local, state and national associations of Realtors. He was president of the Fresno Association of Realtors in 2009, served on its executive committee and was treasurer in 2014 and 2015.
At the state level, he has served on numerous committees, including Taxation and Government Finance (2014), Distressed Property Task Force (2012), Strategic Planning and Finance (vice-chair in 2013), and Federal (vice-chair in 2014) committees.
Martin served on national association’s Commercial Leadership Forum, Commercial, Research, and Commercial Economic Issues and Trends committees.
CAR’s new president-elect is Jeanne Radsick with Century 21 Jordan-Link & Company in Bakersfield.
