In March, the Fresno-based law firm Wanger Jones Helsley (WJH) PC moved its Clovis office to Sacramento and added four new attorneys to the team.
The firm announced the expansion and the addition of new attorneys on March 3.
The new office is situated in the Wells Fargo Center, located in downtown Sacramento, approximately half a mile from the state capitol building.
Tim Jones, managing shareholder, said that WJH expanded to Sacramento after developing a strong relationship with water law attorneys and identified an opportunity to expand their legal services across California’s water and regulatory sectors.
While their Sacramento office and Fresno principal office, located at River Park Circle, are the only two current locations, Jones said they would look to expand if the right opportunity arose.
The four new attorneys were Robert E. Donlan, shareholder; Craig A. Carnes Jr, of counsel; Shawnda M. Grady, of counsel; and Kevin W. Bursey, associate.
“WJH is excited to welcome Rob and his talented team who understand the unique needs of the water and natural resource community,” Jones said in the announcement. “Their addition and the Firm’s expansion create a powerful synergy.”
WJH offers clients statewide legal representation across a variety of practices.
They are known as the “trial lawyer firm” that other attorneys rely on. WJH handles complex civil litigation and criminal defense in both State and Federal courts. The firm’s attorneys represent national and local clients in matters ranging from employment law and construction disputes to agriculture, water, bankruptcy and white collar defense.
