A Fresno dentist announced he has fired a woman seen berating a McDonald’s employee and customer in a viral TikTok video.

Jack Ohanesian DDS Family Dentistry in Fresno announced on social media that the employee “seen on video making offensive comments is no longer a part of our team.”

In the video, a woman is seen arguing with a McDonald’s employee in Fresno before a bystander steps in to defend the employee. The woman is later seen walking out of the store after referring to the man as a Mexican in a derogatory way.

Posted five days ago, the TikTok video has hundreds of thousands of interactions.

The dentist reflected on his own family history while announcing his personnel decision.

“It wasn’t that long ago that my great grandfather immigrated to America from Armenia and faced racism and closed doors to opportunities. He, and other members of my family since, have worked very hard to become contributing members of American society, paving a way for success for me and generations of my family,” according to a statement from Ohanesian.
