The California Society of Certified Public Accountants introduced Adam Blitz of Fresno as chair of the CalCPA Education Foundation for the 2022-23 year.
The foundation works to enhance professional competencies by educating and training members of the CalCPA organization, according to a news release.
Blitz graduated from UC Santa Barbara and received his master’s degree in leadership studies from Fresno Pacific University.
“The difficulties our profession has faced the last two years have underscored the importance of our need as a community to come together to support each other in meaningful ways,” said Blitz. “I’m honored to be elected chair of the Foundation this year, and I urge my fellow CPAs to join me in reinvigorating the fundamental things that make us, us.”
Blitz is the founder of Streamline CPA Accountancy Corp in Fresno and brings more than 10 years of experience in public accounting to assist in developing both partner and client relationships.
With more than 43,000 members, CalCPA focuses on relationship building and networking with one another with a goal to improve the value of membership, preparing its members for the unpredictable future, while also enhancing professional competencies through education.
