The Fresno County Department of Public Health (FCDPH) announced today that it has partnered with Permitium to enable residents to order birth and death certificates online.

Permitium, an online vital records request provider, will assist the FCDPH by offering a new online option for self-service to manage the processing, payment and issuance of birth and death certificates.

Online requirements are the same as in-person requirements. Applicants will still need to pay application fees, as well as proving their status as a qualified applicant. The new option will enable applicants to upload valid forms of required identification online.

“It is a quick, easy and convenient way for Fresno County residents to request birth and death certificates through this new online ordering process,” said Stephanie Garcia, Vital Statistics Program Supervisor.

Users will also be able to access the Permitium website to track their orders.

Residents can order birth/death certificates by visiting fresnocav.permitium.com, selecting the certificate and completing the application.
