Used car shoppers in Fresno will soon have a few more selections to choose from with CarMax expanding their inventory parking lot to make room for additional units.

The expansion, which will add space for around 500 additional cars, will sit between CarMax’s main building at 7180 N. Palm Ave., and the nearby WalMart Supercenter located on Ingram Ave.

The expansion was confirmed through a CarMax spokesperson.

As of now, a date for completion of the expansion has not been provided.

 

CarMax offers buyers a selection of used cars and also provides owners the opportunity to sell vehicles directly to the dealership, as well trade in vehicles to use as credit for other CarMax purchases.

CarMax opened in Fresno in the mid 2000s and is currently expected to open a Visalia dealership, although no building date has been established.
