The Fresno County District Attorney’s Office filed charges against Fresno business owner Todd Eric Mumma this week, including accusations of possessing child pornography, sexual exploitation of a child and possessing an illegal assault weapon.

In May, Mumma, 57, owner of Select Business Systems based in Fresno, was booked into the Fresno County Jail on felony charges of manufacturing child pornography and misdemeanor peeping.

His bail was set at $40,000. He paid his bond and was released from custody.

In early May, members of the Central Valley Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force followed up on a tip and served a search warrant at Mumma’s home in Fresno. Detectives said they discovered numerous cameras and electronic storage devices containing dozens of pornographic images of children.

Mumma is accused of installing hidden cameras in bedrooms and bathrooms throughout his house to secretly record family members and visitors. An illegal assault rifle belonging to Mumma was also found in home, according to the district attorney.

If convicted of all charges Mumma faces a maximum sentence of four years and eight months in state prison.

Mumma is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges July 14.
