A major architectural and engineering firm in the Central Valley is expanding its presence with a recent acquisition in the health care realm.

TETER, Inc., a Fresno based firm providing master planning, architectural design and engineering services, announced the acquisition of Kubow & Associates, a health care design firm serving Fresno and the Central Valley for over three decades.

The acquisition broadens TETER’s capabilities and opens new doors to support health care providers across the state, according to a news release.

Henry Kubow, principal at Kubow and Associates, joins TETER as a senior architect with Rodney Laurel joining as a project manager.

Lee Avila, TETER director of health care and principal architect, said in a statement: “The healthcare team designs medical facilities to be pleasant, calming environments. Healthcare is one of the most important things that we deal with. Our expertise helps Kaiser improve their patients’ experiences. We also help with different charity efforts. Trying to help people have better healthcare experiences motivates us.”
