Minneapolis-based Northmarq is entering the Valley’s multifamily market in a big way with the hiring of the Kane team.
Robin Kane joins Northmarq as managing director and will establish the company’s new office at Palm and Nees avenues in Fresno. He will lead a team consisting of Senior Vice President Brendan Kane and Vice President Gordon Larkin, focusing on multifamily investment sales throughout the Central Valley.

Kane will report to Vince Norris, a regional managing director based in Northmarq’s Westlake Village office, which serves the Greater Los Angeles area.
The trio previously worked at The Mogharebi Group for nearly seven years. Robin Kane departs as a senior vice president, and Larkin and Brendan Kane as vice presidents.
With over 35 years of commercial real estate experience, Robin Kane and his team have closed more than $2 billion in multifamily assets and $200 million in office and retail sales for high-net-worth clients and family offices.

Before joining The Mogharebi Group, Robin Kane was a senior director with Berkadia Real Estate Advisors. Since 2020, Kane has personally closed over 95 sales exceeding $700 million. He and his team have also been recognized as a CoStar Power Broker from 2011 to 2023.

Senior Vice President Brendan Kane brings more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate marketing and sales. He has been involved in over $350 million in commercial real estate transactions throughout the Central Valley and has consistently been recognized as a top producer and trusted advisor since 2015.
As vice president, Larkin will draw on more than 30 years of experience in multifamily properties within the Central Valley. Larkin has consistently ranked as a top salesperson within the market. He provides advisory services to clients — typically local, regional and national investors.
