Fashion Fair Mall recently donated more than 50 laptops to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California, providing local youth with essential learning tools.

The mall’s donation of the 56 laptops reflected the connection between the retail center and the Valley nonprofit, according to a news release.

“This incredible gift from Fashion Fair Mall means the world to us — but even more so to the children we serve,” said Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California President & CEO Diane Phakonekham. “We are deeply grateful for Fashion Fair Mall’s generosity and proud to stand alongside them in supporting the dreams and potential of every child in our community.”

Phakonekham added that the donation of a laptop can be life-changing for the children they serve, providing them access to educational resources and opportunities they might otherwise lack.

For more than 50 years Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California has matched adult volunteers with youth ages 6 through 18, helping build self-confidence and providing children with positive educational and fun experiences through a variety of after-school and community-based programs.
