Soaring Over Sycamore Night Hike

Join the River Parkway Trust for a family-friendly evening exploring wonders in the skies! Learn about Bald Eagles that live around the San Joaquin River, use a spotting scope and binoculars to view Bald Eagles and their nest, and go on an exploratory night hike! The night hike will end with a chance to see any visible stars through a telescope, learn about the constellations in the night sky, and ask questions about the galaxy and beyond. All ages are welcome.

Activities include:

Observing a Bald Eagle nest through a spotting scope and binoculars
Learning about Bald Eagle habitat, behavior, and migration through stories, pictures, crafts, and games.
Exploratory night hike along the San Joaquin River
Using a telescope to observe planets and stars with Larry Parmeter
