Fall Nature Walk at Sumner Peck Ranch

Sat, Nov 26th, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

Join us for a nature walk at Sumner Peck Ranch, inspired by the book “Tending the Wild” by M. Kat Anderson. We’ll learn how native peoples cultivated the wild, and the effects modern industrialized activity have on the environment. Every walk is different and flows with the interests of the group.

Walk may be up to 2 miles in length and last up to 1.5 hours. Please dress appropriately for a morning outdoors (long pants, closed-toed shoes) and bring a reusable water bottle.

Advanced registration is required; please be sure to include all attendees (including children) when registering. We will be meeting at Sumner Peck Ranch (14439 N. Friant Rd) at 9:00 am. Nature walks are free, but a $10 donation per person or $20 donation per family is suggested.
