Downtown Fresno’s culinary delights will be the focus of a new episode of “DineOut Along The Road,” a locally produced television program that airs on KMPH Fox 26 and several other Western U.S. markets.
Executive Producer Ray O’Canto of NTD Media Films said the episode airing Saturday at 7:30 p.m. will feature a story on the family history of Central Fish Market in Chinatown, a profile on a restaurant vocational school run by the Fresno County Office of Education, soul food mainstay Chef Paul’s Cafe and a former tire warehouse transformed into an artists studio, Gallery 1821.
“We hope to infuse some new energy and awareness of the changes occurring in Downtown Fresno,” said O’Canto, who also hosts the episodes.
Other episodes for the fifth season of DineOut Along The Road feature Hanford, Paso Robles, Sonoma, An Luis Obispo/Edna Valley and Livermore.
DineOut Along the Road has expanded its viewership to 11 markets in four states. In addition to Fresno, the show also airs in Bakersfield, Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles in California; Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada; Portland and Eugene, Oregon; Seattle, Washington; and Boise, Idaho.
