Culture Cannabis Club announced the soft opening of its Fresno Maple location — the multi-state operator’s second Fresno store to open in 2024.

The store is located at Maple and Jensen avenues. The other Culture Cannabis Fresno location near Bullard Avenue and Highway 41 had a soft opening in the first week of 2024.

Heading the Culture Fresno Maple location is Partner Barigye McCoy, a Fresno resident with more than 18 years of regulated cannabis experience, according to a news release. McCoy specializes in government legislation and public relations, boasting 13-plus years in public policy and 5-plus years in commercial development.

“His expertise adds substantial value to Culture Cannabis Club’s commitment to compliance and community engagement,” according to the release.

Devon Julian is the CEO of Culture Cannabis Club, which has 11 stores in California. It also operates a dispensary in Porterville.

Culture Cannabis Club also has a store each in Ohio and Mississippi, according to its website.

With the soft openings, Fresno now has six recreational cannabis dispensaries, compared to only two that operated this time last year.
