Crate Republic, a Clovis-based company that offers gift boxes packed with California-made products, has found its way onto USA Today’s “50 States: 50 Gifts of Taste.”
“50 States: 50 Gifts of Taste” is a series of different food-related gift ideas from across the country.
“Honestly, no other state quite compares to California. The Golden State’s various regions, cultures and foods give it that special flair none of the other 49 can replicate,” said Traci Arbios, founder of Crate Republic. “And the sheer size of California makes it impossible to easily indulge in everything the state has to offer. That’s where Crate Republic comes in.”
Crate Republic was created as a way to showcase food products throughout California and features indie-food makers, artisans and small-batch wineries. Their gift boxes start at $35/each and subscription boxes start at $30/month.
