Community members are gathering for a pep rally this evening in Clovis to support an upcoming bond measure.

Measure A would authorize the sale of $408 million in bonds to upgrade classrooms and facilities in the Clovis Unified School District. It will be voted on as part of the March 2020 ballot.

The rally will go from 5-6 p.m. at the Clovis Veterans memorial District. Campaign volunteers will be led by volunteer co-chairs Lisa Smittcamp, Todd Cook, Kevin Peterson and Lynne Ashbeck in a get-out-the-vote event marking the start of the public campaign.

Special guest appearances by Superintendent Eimear O’Farrell and members of the Clovis Unified School Board (all seven of whom have individually endorsed the ballot measure) will also be a part of the community event.
