The City of Fresno will host a city-wide job fair next week—the first in 16 years.
On Tuesday Oct. 25, from 2-4 p.m. job seekers will have a chance to meet with city representatives and learn about career opportunities in various departments including public works, utilities, fire, police, parks and recreation, planning and development, Fresno Area Express, the city attorney’s office, and more.
The event will be held in front of Fresno City Hall.
Job seekers are not required to bring resumes, but they will be accepted. Applicants will have the opportunity to complete their online applications on-site, with assistance if needed.
Job openings include planners, street sweeper operators, police officers, emergency dispatchers, firefighters, positions in computer/information technology, code enforcement, water and wastewater, and much more.
Food vendors will be present, as well as additional resources from partnering agencies.
There will be free parking in the Promenade Lot south of the Santa Fe train station.
