First 5 Fresno County announced this year’s winners for the Child-Friendly Business awards, spotlighting the companies deemed to demonstrate a dedication to prioritizing the lives of employees, their families and children.
The nonprofit organization has awarded five local businesses with the award for the last 18 years, aiming to celebrate the importance of work-life integration among local companies.
The organization reviewed a number of 2024 submissions and chose the businesses for honoring their commitment to supporting working parents.
“These employers are dedicated to an intentional, family-oriented culture, offering benefits such as flexible work schedules, time off for their children’s events, maternity support beyond state requirements, and company facilities that encourage whole families to be part of the parent’s workplace community,” a news release from First 5 Fresno County reads. “First 5 Fresno County is proud to annually present these awards to local businesses.”
This year’s award recipients are:
- 3E Realty & Property Management
- Best Buddies
- BMY Construction, Inc.
- Ohanian’s Drywall
- TETER Architects & Engineering
First 5 Fresno County’s mission is to partner within the community to foster early development of children from prenatal to age five, helping prepare them for success in school and life.
