A popular chicken restaurant from Hanford will be nesting soon in north Fresno.

In a Facebook post, The Chicken Shack announced a second location coming to the Universal Park Shopping Center at 7675 N. Blackstone Ave. that houses Red Robin and Game Stop.

The restaurant will host a hiring event on July 8-9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for cashiers, fryers and expos. Someone at the restaurant said more information will be coming out soon.

The Chicken Shack opened on Fulton Street in Downtown Fresno a year ago.

Owner Damon Miller opened the original location in Hanford nearly five years ago.
