On Thursday, Tachi Palace Casino Resort announced an addition to its entertainment lineup with the debut of The Lux Lounge.

The Lux Lounge is a live music venue located on the third floor of the casino. The lounge has a grand opening on Friday, Aug. 29, and will feature weekend performances in addition to signature cocktails made exclusively for the venue.

“We are thrilled about this new addition to the casino,” said Michael Olujic, general manager of Tachi Palace Casino Resort. “This venue offers a lively atmosphere where guests can come enjoy amazing live music on the weekends while also still having direct access to the casino floor.”  

The cocktail menu includes two originals– The Lux, a strawberry smash featuring Angel’s Envy Tachi single barrel, and The Gatsby, made with Remus Gatsby Reserve, demerara sugar bitters and oak smoke.

Flash Drive, a local band based in Visalia, known for covering hits from the 1960s through the 2000s, will be a regular performer. Guests can also expect sets from DJ Cheetos, who will perform during late-night hours. 

Live shows are set to take place every Friday and Saturday from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., with Sunday performances running from 8 p.m. to midnight. Admission is complimentary for guests 21 and older.
