Following a one-year hiatus, Fresno Restaurant Week is back and the Fresno Chamber of Commerce is now looking for participants.

Featured restaurants serve up special dishes for the 10-day promotion in September. The intention is to showcase the different cuisines in the region.

The first Restaurant Week event was held 2019 as a partnership between the California Restaurant Association and the Fresno/Clovis Convention & Visitor’s Bureau. This year, the Fresno Chamber of Commerce took up the helm, but is not limiting participants to city boundaries.

“The Central Valley has some of the best places to dine out in all of California, thanks in no small part to the flavorful bounty grown right here in our own backyard,” said Scott Miller, president and CEO of the Chamber in a release.”

In 2019, Fresno Restaurant Week was sponsored by the California Restaurant Association as well as the Fresno/Clovis Convention & Visitor’s Bureau. The event had 21 restaurants in participation with unique dishes served for the occasion. Restaurants were as far away as Schoolhouse Restaurant & Tavern in Sanger and Harris Ranch Inn & Restaurant in Coalinga.

Partnership and sponsorship is available at fresnorestaurantweek.org. The 2021 lineup will be announced Sept. 8. The event will run Sept. 20-29.
