Fresno will have 12 dispensaries in operation as California’s largest cannabis retailer sets up shop.

Stiiizy opens 10 a.m. Saturday at 6929 N. Willow Ave., off Herndon Avenue in a multi-tenant strip mall. The Stiiizy store is 2,500 square feet and creates 15 jobs.

“The launch of STIIIZY Fresno signifies our commitment to our consumers and the cannabis industry as we continue to expand our presence in California and beyond,” said Tak Sato, president of Stiiizy. “We are honored to be welcomed into the Fresno community.”

To celebrate the grand opening, Stiiizy will be hosting a community event featuring live music, local food vendors including Maui Hawaiian BBQ and Taqueria Yarelis, and exclusive giveaways.

Giveaways for visitors making purchases include a Stiiizy-branded products including a duffle bag, carpet, bong and bong bag as supplies last. All guests making a purchase can receive a free 3.5-gram bag of Stiiizy cannabis flower.

Stiiizy’s parent company is the Shryne Group. Founded in 2017, Stiiizy is headquartered in Los Angeles and has more than 1,700 employees.

Its multi-state operations included seven cultivation facilities, five manufacturing facilities, four distribution facilities, 34 retail stores in California — the most of any retailer — and three stores in Michigan.
