The leaders from some of the fastest growing businesses in the Central Valley will have a panel discussion to discuss the tricks of their trades and the secrets to their growth.

The panel, “Lessons Learned,” is scheduled for Thursday afternoon at Copper River Country Club in Fresno, and is part of the “Local Matters” quarterly seminar series from Suncrest Bank. The panel will include Ciaran McMullan, president of CEO of Suncrest Bank in Visalia. The Business Journal listed Suncrest Bank as the No.2 fastest growing company in the Valley, growing at a rate of more than 468% between 2016 and 2018, according to the list of Fastest-Growing Companies published Oct. 25, 2019.

All of the panelists represent companies on the Fastest-Growing Companies list.

Also sitting in the panel are: Chris Moran, founder and CEO of Solar Negotiators in Fresno (No. 1, 11,899% growth); Glen Teter, CEO of Teter Architects and Engineers in Fresno (No. 10, 48.7% growth); and Kurt Zumwalt, CEO of Zumwalt Construction, Inc. (No. 14, 24.5% growth).

According to McMullan, the Local Matters seminar series has been going for more than a year now, bringing in local business and community leaders to discuss some of the area’s big issues. This time around, he said it seemed like a good idea to discuss business growth.

“This is the latest in a series of seminars the purpose of which is to bring thought leaders and subject matter experts together to talk about issues that are important to the local economy and local business,” he said.

The event will be begin at 3:30 p.m. and will run until 5:30 p.m.. So far, about 70 people are expected to come, but McMullan said that there’s still room for more.
