For more than three decades, The Business Journal has served the Central Valley business community with trusted, local news that helps readers stay informed, connected and successful. For the past several weeks, we have been working to give that commitment a new digital home.

TheBusinessJournal.com has been redesigned — but this is about more than a fresh look. The new site is built around how readers use The Business Journal today, making it easier to find the stories, topics and business information that matters most, whether you are on a desktop, tablet or phone.

Built around how you read

Readers will be able to more easily discover news from across Fresno, Kings, Madera and Tulare counties, explore the industries most relevant to their business and access the business leads The Business Journal is known for. Just as important, you can expect more local content than ever before.

To welcome new subscribers, we are offering a discount promo code. Type in NEWSUB20 at checkout for $20 off.

We are continuing to invest in our newsroom — in breaking business news, in-depth reporting, business leads, industry data, rankings and executive profiles — to make the site a more valuable resource for doing business in the Central Valley.

What’s available to subscribers

As part of these changes, select content and business resources will be available exclusively to subscribers, including:

  • Premium local business news — In-depth reporting on the companies, industries, developments and issues shaping our region.
  •
  • Business leads and public records — Bankruptcy filings, liens, real estate transactions, probates, trustee sales, fictitious business names and more.
  •

Why we’re investing

Why make this investment? Local journalism matters. Covering the stories, trends and people that shape business across the region takes time, expertise and resources. Expanding subscriber-only access lets us keep investing in the journalists and reporting readers have relied on for decades, while delivering greater value to subscribers.

For those who already subscribe, thank you. Your support makes independent local business journalism possible in the Central Valley, and we are excited to offer you a better experience. For those who have not yet joined, we invite you to see everything The Business Journal has to offer. We believe an investment in our news product will pay off with an expanded business intelligence and understanding of what makes the local economy tick.

The look is changing. The commitment is not: timely, accurate business journalism that serves our region.
