The ninth annual Valley Made Manufacturing Summit, hosted by the San Joaquin Valley Manufacturing Alliance (SJVMA), will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fresno Convention Center Exhibit Hall. This premier event brings together the Central Valley’s manufacturing industry, offering a full day of workshops, networking and industry insights.
The Summit celebrates the region’s rich history of innovation in manufacturing while providing a space for collaboration, growth and knowledge sharing. Attendees can expect a dynamic mix of booth spaces, break-out sessions and a motivating keynote speech. The goal is to spark collaboration between like-minded individuals serving the manufacturing industry and its partners.
SJVMA anticipates more than 900 attendees, including CEOs, technology managers, human resources directors, industry service providers and career technical education (CTE) partners. The event is designed not only for those directly involved in manufacturing but also for businesses and institutions targeting manufacturers, making it an excellent opportunity for connection and collaboration.
This year, the Summit features an exciting keynote address by Matt Poepsel, PhD, author of Expand the Circle: Enlightened Leadership for Our New World of Work and host of the Lead the People podcast. His talk, titled Optimal Output: Uniting Production, People, and Potential, will share how manufacturers (and business people) can overcome common challenges and make the necessary shifts in mindset and execution to unlock higher levels of value creation. Poepsel’s expertise in psychology and leadership is set to deliver valuable insights aligned with this year’s theme, “Empowering Excellence, Maximizing Potential.”
