Time is running out to nominate a family business for The Business Journal’s inaugural Family Owned Business Awards (FOBA).

This event years in the making is meant to honor family businesses that make up the backbone of the American economy. If you know of an exemplary family business, or are part of one, be sure to submit a nomination by the March 1 deadline.

A panel will review those nominations and recommend finalists for the FOBA program planned for June 15. Nominees and honorees will also be featured in a future issue of The Business Journal.

Nominees must be headquartered in Fresno, Kings, Madera and Tulare counties and must be multi-generational, family-owned and operated businesses.

If you’ve ever happened to see our special family business issue of The Business Journal, you will know just how fascinating and successful our local family businesses are. Don’t miss your chance to be included.
