An all-day fundraiser benefiting the Special Olympics will feature more than a dozen Blaze Pizza restaurants throughout the Central Valley and Central Coast this Thursday.

Restaurants in Fresno, Clovis, Tulare, Visalia, Porterville and other locations throughout the Valley and Central Coast are participating in the fundraiser aiming to support the nonprofit organization.

Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza, a fast-casual artisanal pizzeria, announced Tuesday that 18 locations will donate 25% proceeds from customers who elect to donate to Special Olympics, marking a joint-celebration of  inclusion and acceptance between the company and its customers.

“Special Olympics is important to us because it’s an organization that is founded on inclusion where every single person is accepted and welcomed, regardless of ability or disability. We are helping to make the world a better, healthier and happier place, one athlete, one volunteer, one family member at a time,” explains Mitch Wolf, Operating Partner of Blaze Pizza’s Central and Northern California locations.

Guests are invited to mention that they are dining at Blaze to support the nonprofit organization and the funds will be marked to be donated.

Blaze Pizza is the nation’s leading fast-casual pizza franchise, and has more than 300 restaurants in 38 states.
