Providence Strategic Consulting, Inc., a Kern County public relations and government affairs firm, has opened a new office in Fresno.
In addition to the main office located in Bakersfield, this second location gives the firm a new home base for its growing business portfolio, according to a news release. Tracy Leach, president and CEO, has been in the public relations and marketing business for more than 20 years.
“This a really exciting time for our firm,” Leach said. “We have been working all over the Central Valley for nearly two decades now and we look forward to putting down some roots in Fresno.”
Leach Providence has run PR on eight successful ballot measure campaigns, but has since moved her focus more heavily in the private sector. Among some of their prevalent current clients are Laurel Ag & Water in Bakersfield and Goodwill Industries of South Central California.
Providence has hired Hanford-born and longtime Fresno resident, Monica Sozinho, as government and public affairs manager for the new office.
