After more than a year of anticipation, all-you-can-eat Tsukiji Japanese Cuisine has opened at the Villaggio shopping center in the former California Pizza Kitchen space.

Temporary signage for the restaurant first appeared around November 2022. The space had been vacant since August 2020.

Corporate filings with the California Secretary of State’s office list Hai Sheng Zheng as the CEO of parent company Tsukiji Ayce Fresno, Inc.

According to social media posts, the restaurant at 7985 N. Blackstone Ave. opened last week. A menu posted on the Tsukiji AYCE Japanese Cuisine Fresno Facebook page list soft opening prices for adults at $21.99 for weekday lunch from 11 a.m. – 2:30 a.m. Dinner is $34.99 from 4:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. The weekend and holiday price is $34.99 all day. Kids under 4-feet-tall start at $10.99 up to $17.99.
