Bulldog Football Hour will return this fall, featuring the Voice of the Bulldogs Paul Loeffler, joined by first-year head coach Matt Entz, weekly on Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The Point Patio Bar & Bistro, will host the once-weekly live radio broadcast on Thursdays and select Wednesdays, to accommodate for team travel and Friday game weeks.
This year marks the fifth year that the restaurant has hosted the weekly radio show.
“Any time you have a coaching change, I think the exciting part for the fans is getting to know the new coach and what makes his heart beat,” said Fresno State Football play-by-play announcer Paul Loeffler. “I think fans will love hearing coach Entz’s vision, his love for the community [and] his ideas and philosophy for winning football here in the Valley.”
Starting Thursday, Aug. 21, Bulldog Sports Hour will air weekly on FOX Sports radio in Fresno (1340 AM), Bakersfield (970 AM) and Stockton (1280 AM). Fans can also tune in on the GoBulldogs app and the Varsity app.
The weekly radio show will also give those in attendance the opportunity to meet and talk to players, coaches and staff, as well as prize giveaways.
“And the food at The Point is hard to beat,” Loeffler said. “It seems like a win-win in my book.”
The Fresno State Bulldogs kick off their 2025 season this Saturday, Aug. 23, taking on the Kansas Jayhawks in Lawrence, Kansas, at 3:30 p.m. Pacific Time. The game will air live on KMPH Fox 26.
