Fueled by the passion of the Red Wave, Fresno State Athletics has delivered unprecedented fundraising success over the past two years.

Since 2023, the Bulldog Foundation has posted back-to-back record-breaking years—generating more than $21 million in support. That total includes an all-time high in seven-figure gifts directed toward key initiatives and capital projects. Overall fundraising is up nearly 40% compared to the previous three fiscal years, signaling a rising culture of philanthropy across the Valley. The consecutive record-breaking years mark the second and third largest fundraising hauls in the university’s history across all fundraising units.

And it’s happening during a time of seismic change in college athletics—from the rise of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) to conference realignment and evolving national policies. Through proactive education and strategic outreach, we’ve helped donors understand how to navigate this new era while continuing to invest in what matters most: scholarships, development, and championship-level support for our student-athletes.

Our base of supporters—longtime loyalists and first-time donors alike—have responded with vision, generosity, and trust.

“The Red Wave continues to show up in record-breaking ways. We’re not just fundraising—we’re building a movement. This kind of success doesn’t happen by accident. It’s the result of belief, grit, and a relentless commitment to elevating Fresno State Athletics. As we transition into a new, nationally competitive conference, we must continue adding the resources it takes to win—and we won’t let up now.”
— Garrett Klassy, Director of Athletics

As we transition into the PAC-12, sustained success depends on maintaining this momentum and continuing to grow.

Now more than ever, we invite individuals and businesses to be part of our mission. Membership in the Bulldog Foundation comes with more than just pride—it includes access to premium seating, preferred parking, and exclusive tailgating spaces that are ideal for hosting clients or team outings.

Whether your focus is philanthropic impact or unforgettable gameday experiences, your partnership makes a lasting difference. Join us as we build the next great chapter of Fresno State Athletics.

For 75 years, the Red Wave’s unwavering support of Fresno State Athletics and the Bulldog Foundation has built a nationally recognized powerhouse in California’s Central Valley. This is just the beginning. With bold vision and united purpose, we’re ready to rise to new heights and compete at the highest level, in the Pac-12 Conference.

Ascension to the PAC-12

Fresno State’s move to the PAC-12 is a transformative step forward—for the university, our athletics programs, and the entire Central Valley. It reflects decades of hard work, belief, and investment by fans, donors, and campus leaders.

The Bulldog Foundation has been instrumental in paving the way—funding scholarships, building championship infrastructure, and supporting elite coaching across all sports.

This new chapter brings national visibility, elevated competition, and higher expectations. Continued donor support is essential to meet those expectations and position Fresno State to not just compete—but win.

Celebrating 75 Years of the Bulldog Foundation

This year, we celebrate 75 years of Bulldog Foundation impact. Since 1950, the BDF has helped shape the lives of thousands of student-athletes by funding scholarships, enhancing facilities, and investing in competitive excellence.

What began as a small group of advocates has grown into a powerful force—a network of supporters driving Fresno State Athletics forward in every era.

Throughout this milestone year, we’ll honor that legacy with events, donor recognition, and storytelling that looks back with pride and forward with purpose. The next 75 years will demand even greater vision, innovation, and support—and together, we’ll rise to meet the moment.
