Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group has announced the addition of Granger Water Specialties as a new division, expanding the firm’s operational capabilities for water and wastewater treatment facilities across Central California.

Provost & Pritchard, established in 1968, is a full-service engineering and consulting firm with 12 offices across California and Idaho.

Granger Water Specialties, founded in 1981 in Hanford, has provided contract operations for treatment plants, as well as services in pump systems, SCADA systems and electrical control design and construction.

“Granger Water Specialties has been providing operation and management services for water and wastewater treatment plants for more than 40 years,” said Keith Mortensen, director of operations for Provost & Pritchard Treatment and O&M Services, in a news release. “We are thrilled to have Kelly and his team of certified operators join Provost & Pritchard to meet our clients’ needs from project conception through startup and operations—a complete package of services.”

General Manager Kelly Granger, who will continue with the firm, called the move a natural fit, citing their quarter-century relationship.

“We have had the privilege of working with Provost & Pritchard for over 25 years. Our long history has afforded us opportunities to work alongside many of their talented staff on several projects.” Granger said. “Our involvement from design, through construction and facilities operations has proven to be a real value to the clients we serve. I feel that the cultures of each of our businesses are very similar and will complement each other well. We are all excited to join forces with P&P and look forward to what the future brings.”
