Downtown coffee lovers can pick up their drink with a side of tacos with the rollout of Coach Coffee Roasters, now available inside Don Tacha Taqueria at 295 N. Blackstone Ave. in Downtown Fresno.

Coach Coffee, a local roasting company launched in 2024 by former Central Valley Fuego FC Assistant Coach Edison Gonzales, celebrated the partnership between Coach Coffee Roasters and Don Tacha on Sunday with a post on Instagram.

“Big shoutout to my brother on his first day of launching his coffee business,” a Sunday evening post from Don Tacha Owner Jose Gonzalez reads. “Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it.”

Coach Coffee Roasters was inspired by Gonzalez’s travels around the world in the soccer community. His travels always began with the same question: “Where can we find a great cup of coffee with a welcoming vibe that reflects the blend of cultures we experience in sports and soccer?”

Gonzalez hopes to answer that question in his new blends; Coach Coffee is available inside Don Tacha Taqueria and has partnered with other local businesses, including 1852 Visalia, for events.

In addition to its new home inside Don Tacha Taqueria, Coach Coffee Roasters’ products, including apparel, mugs and roasting beans are also available online.

Don Tacha Taqueria is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and is closed Sundays.
