Shoppers in North Fresno searching for gas will be able to do so within walking distance of one of the country’s leading retailers next winter.
The Walmart Supercenter, located at 7065 N. Ingram Ave., in Fresno, has broken ground on a project that will install walk-up format fuel pumps, hoping to complete the project by Q1 of 2025, according to a company spokesperson.
The fueling station will mark the second Fresno Walmart to feature the facilities; the Walmart Supercenter in Kerman led the charge in 2021, opening its 12-pump self-fueling station, prompting the company to expand the service into the greater Fresno area.
Following the opening of the Kerman pumps, the Walmart located at 5111 E. Cesar Chavez Blvd. opened their own set of pumps, a 12-pump, self-serve fueling station adjacent to the store.
The company plans to install eight fuel pumps at the Ingram location, a Walmart spokesperson confirmed.
